TRY PICTURES

Have you ever taken pictures of your "Sunday School in Action?" Usually there is someone in every church or Sunday school who makes a hobby of taking photographs, slides or videos. Arrange for that person to take pictures of the entire Sunday school in action and make a picture story of the program. First, write up what you would like the photographer to take. Then, arrange in advance to visit the departments and take pictures of worship exercises, quiz programs, Bible drills, mission programs, flannel board lessons, awards, teachers’ meetings, weekday activities, specials programs, summer VBS activities and more. In fact, any usual or unusual activities of your Sunday school will be appropriate. Recognize contest winners by taking special pictures. If you do not have video capabilities, a still picture album or a narration with selected pictures or slides will be a great project. By way of variety, you might add tape recordings of your classes and departments in action, too. Once your presentation is complete, you might make arrangements to show the presentation in your worship service or at some other time when all church members are gathered.
