Urge Teachers To Take A "Personal Retreat"

It is important for each Christian to "get away from it all" for a time of personal renewal with God. This is especially important for Sunday school teachers and leaders who often become so busy that they forget to make time for themselves to be alone with God.

Urge each teacher to plan a few hours alone in an outdoor location where there will be no interruptions, where they can read the Bible, pray and think about their own life and their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Persons should think and pray about all areas of their life – mental, physical, social and spiritual. A devotional book or book on personal renewal will be a great help.
