Getting More Out Of Bible Study

Bible study is one of the main methods of learning within most Sunday school classes. But, are you getting the most from your Bible study? In all Bible studies, look for something. Write down what you find. And, ask yourself the following questions:

What does this passage mean to me?

Is there something I should obey?

Is there a promise for me to claim?

Is there a warning of something for me to avoid?

Were there conditions to that promise?

What does this section teach about God?

What does it teach about Jesus Christ?

What does it teach about the Holy Spirit?

What does it teach about sin?

What does it teach about living as a Christian?

How can I apply this passage to my everyday life?

Is there something here that I should pray about?
