Make A "Sunday School Page" Part Of
Your Church Newsletter

Does every member of your church know what’s happening in your Sunday school? In far too many churches, less than half of the members attend Sunday school. In many others, the church leaders don’t even know what’s going on in Sunday school.

If your Sunday school is to grow, one of the best places to start is with the members of your own church – people who attend your worship service or other activities, but do not attend Sunday school.

If you are to get adequate recognition and support from the members and leaders of your church, they need to know what’s happening in Sunday school. How can you do this? A good way is to begin a "Sunday School Page" in your monthly church newsletter.

This "Sunday School Page" could be used to regularly carry articles about the value of Sunday school. You might highlight one of your Sunday school classes or teachers each month. It could also be used to promote special attendance building activities and other events held by the Sunday school and individual classes.
