Music As A Part Of The Sunday School

How is your Sunday school currently using music? Music is one of the best teaching tools that we have available, but maybe you need to make a "music survey" to see how your are doing. For the next month, keep a list of all songs used in your church and Sunday school. Check the variety, balance and style. Are the songs used in Sunday school tied to the lesson themes? Are your members learning new songs on a regular basis? Do you include special music in your service several times each year? Are your members given an opportunity to use their musical talents for the Lord through your Sunday school and church? Music can make great contributions to the lives and spiritual awareness of persons of all ages. Use more music in your Sunday school, but use it well.
