Invite The Singles Of Your Community To Sunday School

It’s a rather amazing statistic. 51% of unchurched adults in America are single (according to the George Barna Research Group). With that statistic in mind, Sunday schools should be encouraged to plan programs to reach and meet the needs of single adults. As they do, there are several things to keep in mind. First, there are three different types of single adults – those who have never been married, those who are divorced and those who are widowed. Second, not all singles are young. 50% of all singles are over thirty. Meeting the needs of the singles in your community will require a special effort, but it will be well worth it.
