"Sunday School Store" Helps Build Attendance

Here’s an idea that came from a church in Maryland with a dynamic, growing Sunday school that rewards children and youth for special achievements and attendance. The church has established a "Sunday School Store." The store includes items like Bibles, T-shirts with Christian slogans and more. Sunday school kids can earn "points" to buy items in the "Sunday School Store" by attending Sunday school regularly, bringing a friend to Sunday school, by completing learning projects and in other ways. The church reports great success with the store project and an increase in weekly attendance in both the children’s and youth departments. (Note: We couldn’t help think that the items from our "Sunday School Stuff" line would be great additions to their Sunday School Store inventory.)
