Begin Planning For Christmas In Your Sunday School

Christmas many still be several months away, however, it’s not too early to be thinking about the holiday plans you want to make for your Sunday school. Think about special Christmas programs and services (children’s programs, musicals, etc.), both in your church and for others, such as at a nursing home. You will also want to begin thinking about holiday parties and other fellowship building events (a holiday family fun night, children’s party, class events, etc.). Plan activities where you can give of your time and money to the needy, elderly and others of your church and community. Another part of planning should be to plan special Advent studies for classes and individuals. And, don’t forget the traditional things you might do, like helping to decorate the church, sponsoring a night of caroling and having a live Nativity scene.
