Using "The Newlywed Game" As A Teaching Tool
Remember the old "Newlywed Game" on TV? On that game each member of the newlywed couple was asked a question and then their answers were compared. The idea being to see how much the new husband and wife knew about each other. Its quite easy, educational and a lot of fun to use a form of "The Newlywed Game" as a Sunday school teaching tool. Select several "couples." Ask them both a question (Bible trivia, a question about Christian living, etc. The best questions are those that dont have a definite right or wrong answer.) Have one member of the "couple" write down their answer and then ask the other member to respond out loud. Compare their answers. Have two couples play at once and keep score to see who agrees most often. Follow each question with a time of discussion.
