Building Friendships Builds Sunday Schools

From elementary school years on, children and youth are greatly influenced by their friends and want to be with those friends and do things with them, as much as possible. This is an important fact for all Sunday school teachers and leaders to keep in mind. It is important because it is one of the factors that influences how our kids feel about Sunday school. If children and youth have developed friendships with other kids within their Sunday school classes, they will be much more likely to remain active and enthusiastic about Sunday school. And, by encouraging kids to build new friendships within our Sunday schools and to bring their friends with them, we will see our Sunday school grow!
