It Worked For Us
Question Cookies
By Ann Speire
The members of the youth class I teach dont ask many questions, but they do like to eat. So, I baked some cookies and took them along to class. What I didnt tell them at first was that inside each cookie I had placed a strip of paper with a question on it related to the lesson. I just took plain paper and typed the questions on it, cut the questions into strips, folded them, stuck them in the middle of the ball of cookie dough and then baked the cookies. As we started, the kids were instructed to break open and remove the question paper before they stuck the whole cookie in their mouth. As the kids munched away happily, they read the questions which we then discussed.
