Each year as we start a new Sunday school year in September, we take the opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of our Sunday school students during the past year. One of our members uses her computer to design simple certificates that we present to the children. We recognize perfect and near perfect attendance, completion of study units, special projects completed, those who invite and bring their friends, etc. We make sure that every child receives a certificate for something. Children are encouraged by the recognition and feel a sense of accomplishment when they receive the small award.
