It Worked For Us…

Sunday School Tape Ministry

By J. Wise

I know that many churches have tape ministries where they record their worship services on cassette tapes and then take them around to shut-ins. But, here’s an idea our Sunday school came up with. We record our Senior Citizen’s Sunday School Class and take the cassette tape of each week’s lesson around to shut-ins, too. The two men who teach the class both use the lecture method of teaching and are both very good and knowledgeable on the Bible. We have found that our elderly and shut-ins really appreciate the opportunity to continue to be a part of our Sunday school in this way.
