It Worked For Us…

Winter Car Pooling

By Mary Ann Silkman

The winter months can be rough for many persons to get to Sunday school, especially the elderly. During these months, our Sunday school has a car-pool system where we list the names of persons who have room for one or more persons in their car and where they come from or pass on their way to the church. This information is listed on cards on the bulletin board along with a phone number to contact the driver. If anyone needs a ride to Sunday school during the winter months, they contact a person listed on a card from their area. We’ve found it very useful in helping to get everyone out, especially on cold and snowy Sundays.
