It Worked For Us…

Summer Bible Read-A-Thon

By Mrs. C. G. Kreiler

Here’s an idea we got from the library’s "summer read-a-thon:" We challenged the children and youth of our Sunday school to read books of the Bible over the summer months. Each youth asked for pledges of money for each book read. At the end of the summer, we gave a prize to the one reader who had read the most books of the Bible. The money was given to a mission project.
