What's Wrong With This Woman?

A Tennessee newspaper recently reported about an 81 year old woman who had not missed church in 20 years.

If news of this gets to the right people, they will surely call for an investigation of many unanswered questions:

1. Doesn't the woman ever have company visiting her on Sunday? Or is she so dedicated to her church that she is bold enough to invite them to attend church with her?

2. Doesn't she ever go out on Saturday night and find herself tired on Sunday morning?

3. Doesn't she catch cold, have headaches or feel run-down? (A condition that for some is made worse by attending church.)

4. Doesn't she ever choose to stay in bed when it rains, snows or gets too hot or cold?

5. Hasn't she ever become angry with her minister or a fellow church member?

6. And hasn't she at some point felt unappreciated and wanted to stay home and bathe in self-pity?

When the investigation is completed, it may be found that she is guilty of a good case of religion - a condition made more permanent by the fullness of her love for the Lord and her church.
